Your network adapter driver must be updated. Using an outdated or incompatible network driver adapter can cause connection problems. So it is mandatory to have an updated driver.

  • You can either press and hold or right- click the network adapter and then choose Update Driver Software ->Browse my computer for driver software.
  • Click Browse and click the location where the driver files are stored and press OK.
  • Select Next > follow the steps to install the driver > Close.
  • Once the driver is updated, tap Start button ->Power. Click Restart if you are asked to do so.

Roll back your network adapter driver

Reverting your driver to the previous version might help you if you were connected earlier and recently installed a new network adapter driver.

  • Enter Device Manager in the search box on the taskbar, and then choose Device Manager from the available list of results.
  • Select Network adaptersin Device Manager and then click on the network adapter name.
  • You can choose the Properties either by press and hold or right- clickthe network adapter.
  • Select the Drivertab in Properties tab. Proceed to the following steps by selecting Roll back driver. You cannot able to roll back to the previous version of the driver if the button is not available.
  • After rolling back to the previous version of the driver, Choose the Startbutton > Power > Restart if you’re asked to restart, and see if that fixes the connection issue.
